Perhaps this is in the wrong category, because while I did sorta focus on the fashion, I feel like that wasn't the purpose for making this piece. I just wanted to continue the Final Fantasy rip-off business, but I dunno, I don't like this outfit very much. The pose is supposed to be all jaunty-like, but it just looks awkward. Whatever.
Modge-podged inspiration again.
--Overall composition is inspired by character specs images from pretty much any artist.
--Her face/hair/crown are based off of Xiao Jie of the Taiwanese girl band 7 Flowers. I think this girl is really pretty, and I like that she isn't as skinny as the others. I love her eyes in particular, and her hair is always a little funky.
--The sleeve on her arm is somewhat Cloud (of FF7) inspired, but not really intentionally.
--The ribbon bands across her shoulders are something that popped out at me during some awards show on some actress who I can't recall. But I think that idea is sorta cool, so I tried to do it here.
--Skirt-wrap-whatever is actually inspired by the military uniforms from Fullmetal Alchemist. Mostly because I didn't want it to be flowy like the first piece.
I tried to keep similar elements to the other piece (satiny top, pleated skirt, belt-skirt-wrap-thing, boots) but I dunno if that just looks forced here.
I'm aware of mistakes (e.g. one of her boobs is significantly larger than the other, though I am told that is actually true of real females, also that the pattern on her skirt is verrry flat, the list goes on), sooo okay. Really, I just like how pretty her face is.
Gahh, also wondering why I didn't notice before her that her right arm and legs are darker than the rest of her body.
