This...isn't Makorra. But this is what I wanted to draw first, so here it is. I've tried to redesign the quintessential senshi outfits before, but to no avail. I don't think this quite counts, but I was trying to make it more cosplayable somehow. Like, an altered actual navy uniform top with capsleeves, and ribbon trimmed opera gloves, and a dark blue tennis skirt, and...red boots, hah.

Oh well. At least I like the way her hair came out.

Yay, thanks! The pose comes from some silhouette of some Korean girl band? I'm not familiar with the band, but the picture had a lot of cool poses, so I saved it for reference.

Came out nice! I am super excited for the new anime next year! I don't think it will be better than the 1st season of the older anime thoguh!

Thank you! The old anime has the advantage of childhood nostalgia, so I will think of the new one as an entirely different and new experience.

Yes I am also not going to be comparing while watching because then I would not enjoy it at all. I am using to watching different adaptions of shows/comics (ie. Hana Yori Dango, Hana Kimi, Walking Dead, Game of Thrones). Every version of shows/comics have their own cool differnces!!

Or maybe I should clarify that this still could count for anime, but it is less cartoony than the normal anime. I hope I am making enough sense.
